- Specific lots are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Cottages and Cabins have a 3-7 night minimum stay depending on the unit and time of season. Reservations accepted and preferred. Deposits required for reservations.
- Seasonal lots are available upon request.
- All travelers must register and full payment is required upon arrival. Cash, Debit or Visa/ MasterCard.
- Rules & regulations are to be respected and are subject to change at the owner’s discretion.
- The staff wishes everyone to have a safe and enjoyable summer. Please approach us with any questions or concerns. A suggestion box will be available in the office.
Reservation Policies: To reserve a campsite or any of our lodging a one night deposit is required. On our lodging, a full non-refundable payment is required 14 days prior to your arrival for the following holiday/special events - (Victoria Day; Canada Day; Civic Holiday and Labor Day.
Taxes and charges for extra persons will be collected at registration. We accept Visa, Master Cards. Minimum 3-7 night reservations required on cabins. Call to confirm. Click here to make a reservation.
TRAILERS: Check out time is noon (12 PM).
INSURANCE – All trailers must carry their own insurance to cover any damages. South Bay Resort is not responsible for any damages incurred while on the property or for any stolen or lost property.
CLOTHES LINES can be dangerous if unnoticed to staff or visitors. No Thank you!
SITES
CONSTRUCTION
NEW: WORK ORDER : In the office, you can fill a written work order with any requests for work done around the park. This includes request for pump out. Staff will not take any verbal requests as they may have other priorities or these may be forgotten or miscommunicated. Requests will be reviewed and attended to in order of importance.
SEWAGE PUMPOUT SERVICE : $20.00 Pump out is on Tuesdays only. Place a work order preferably 24hrs in advance. Ensure a safe unobstructed pathway to your sewage outlet.
***Please DO NOT use ANY odour control products in your holding tanks that contain Alcohol or Formaldehyde as they upset our sewage system. Please consult www.telamode.com.
SELF SERVE DUMPING: included with 2 night stays.
WATER– Due to the obvious overuse of great lakes water and substantial cost of water purification, we ask to prevent the excess use of water – meaning no washing of vehicles. Shut water off before you leave camp for any extended period of time.
COTTAGES/CABINS/RENTAL TRAILER: Credit Card required for incidentals.
GARBAGE - USE CLEAR GARBAGE BAGS ONLY.
FISHING:
PETS – We are pleased that South Bay Resort campers pick up after their pets and keep them on leashes at all times. No pets are to be left unattended. If your pet is one that barks at everything please muzzle them, or you will be asked to remove them from the campground. Additional Pet Cleaning fee for cabins and trailers.
VEHICLES – Max 2 vehicles allowed per trailer site within lot perimeter. Visitor parking is available in designated areas.
BOATS & TRAILER PARKING: Is located near laundry on rock bed.
LIGHTS – PATIO LIGHTS must be L.E.D. or Solar ONLY
QUIET TIME
Enforced from 12:00 to 9:00 am. Please remember the person on the registry is responsible for seeing the rules are adhered to. Respect your neighbours.
PARENTS, it is your responsibility to make sure your children (under 16) are at your campsite by 10:00 pm.
Please make sure your children do NOT swim or play in the dock area and do NOT leave your children unattended in the park at any time.
BICYCLES – Parents please make sure your children wear their helmets.
GUESTS
TREES - No trees will be cut or removed from ANY area. Cutting of trees without permission may result in eviction.
It is considered stealing to take wood from other sites.
TELEPHONE MESSAGES- Only urgent messages will be delivered.
FACILITIES – Use of public facilities is welcome to everyone. When using washrooms, please show consideration by keeping them clean as there are others using them after you. Please do not flush sanitary napkins, tampons or contraceptives devices down toilets as they clog the pipes and cause pump blockages.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES – Coin operated washers & dryers are available for your convenience. Hours of operation: 24h/day
Please be advised absolutely NO nudity in the park.
DOCKS
No docks available until further notice.
South Bay Resort Shall be entitled to terminate any residents of a trailer site in the event that the occupants or a visitor at the trailer:

- Lot size is to be respected and the trailer, vehicles, boat or boat trailer must be within the respected lot perimeter or else parked in the appropriate parking areas as designated.
- All sites must be maintained at a campground level (no clutter, garbage, or neglected lawn etc).
CONSTRUCTION
- No construction from June 24th to Sept 1st to allow everyone to enjoy the serenity.
- No hammering or sawing prior to 10:00 a.m. and must stop by 4:00 pm, this time is for naps and relaxation.
- Any damage or cost occurred to the campground by you will be fixed and then charged to you.

- NO SMOKING
- No Fresh Fish to be prepared at their site. Use fish cleaning station at nearby marina.
GARBAGE - USE CLEAR GARBAGE BAGS ONLY.
- Separate all glass, plastic #1 & #2, metal cans and paper/cardboard for recycling.
- Keep liquor, wine and beer bottles/cans in a separate bin.
- We want to be environmentally friendly here at South Bay Resort so before you gather your garbage sort it out.
- We are not a personal dump so don’t throw any other materials in or beside the bins. Any other garbage such as metal containers, picnic tables, chairs, propane tanks, etc. must be disposed of by you. South Bay Resort is responsible for household garbage only!!!
FISHING:
- Freezer available. Write your name on your prize and take only your own home.
- Respect the MNR’s limits for all to enjoy the abundance in years to come.

- No lights on timers while you are away from the park
- All outdoor lights off during the day light hours

- Commit an illegal act or carry on an illegal trade, business or occupation in or around their trailer.
- Willfully or negligently cause damage to the park or to its facilities:
- Substantially interferes with the reasonable enjoyment of the park by other residents or the owner: or
- Contravene any rule or regulation made by South Bay Resort.
